NO TO ASSISTED SUICIDE and EUTHANASIA

In a strongly worded statement, the Bishops of Canada have condemned the Supreme Court decision and have asked the next government to invoke the notwithstanding clause in order to give Canadians more time to think about the serious consequences of euthanasia and assisted suicide.
The government of Canada has created an expert panel to examine the Supreme Court’s decision on assisted suicide. We strongly encourage you to make your views known on the panel’s consultation website (http://www.ep-ce.ca/home/) and on that of Ontario’s Minister of Health  (https://www.ontario.ca/page/doctor-assisted-dying-and-end-life-decisions-consultation) who, with representation from ten other provinces and territories), is soliciting input on this crucial issue.
Take the opportunity in coming weeks to meet with the candidates for all the federal parties running in your riding in order to voice your complete opposition to euthanasia and assisted suicide.   Remember, in the near future one of them could be directly involved in drafting a law in response to the Supreme Court’s decision in the Carter case (decriminalizing “medical aid in dying “).  Be informed; check-out the website of the Life Giving Love Campaign..
